Application Instructions
After reading the instructions, please complete the online application as thoroughly as possible. When you are finished, click the SUBMIT button on the left column of any application screen. Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application. Return the printed application agreement statement with a nonrefundable application fee of $50 (Canadian funds) to the address below.

Residence: On-campus or Off?
- Columbia has learned that one of the very profound learning dynamics at college is residential life. The interaction with other students, as well as staff and student leaders, open doors for personal growth. All single, full-time students under the age of 20 are expected to live in residences. Parents/Guardians with students under the age of 20 with extraordinary or unique circumstances must make a written appeal for special permission to an admissions counselor. The letter must be included with the student's application and must include reasons for the exemption request.

Responsibilities of Membership
High School Records
- Make arrangements to have an official high school transcript sent to admissions. If you are enrolled in courses when applying, please have your high school send interim/midterm grades from you grade 12 year.
Postsecondary Transcripts
- If you have enrolled in academic work beyond high school graduation, arrange to have your postsecondary transcripts sent to the admissions office. Photocopies cannot be accepted. If you are enrolled in courses when applying to Columbia Bible College, please submit a transcript that shows grades completed and courses in which you are currently enrolled. Our registrar will then be able to do a transfer analysis for you.

A Picture of Yourself
- Include with your application, two recent passport sized pictures of yourself (one for admissions, one for student life.) We appreciate putting a face to your application.
Personal References
- These
references are confidential, and will be kept in you student file at the college. They are not intended to be read by you, but are to assist us in assessing your goals and needs as well as your gifts and interests. Please complete the section at the top of each of the two reference forms, then distribute each along with a stamped envelope addresses to the college address below.

Acceptance
- Once all forms have been received, including references and transcripts. Final acceptance notice will be given via phone or e-mail along with a mailed acceptance letter and package.
- If transcripts from high school are unavailable at the time of application, a conditional acceptance would be issued based on completion of grade 12.
- Upon acceptance, resident students submit a $300 deposit to confirm dorm space and course registration. Full-time commuter students submit a $100 tuition deposit. Quest students submit an $800 program, dorm and course registration deposit. OL students must submit a $500 program deposit. These fees go towards your cost of studying at Columbia Bible College.

How to Use the Columbia Bible College Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left
column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current
screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct
your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to
skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the
application.
